I got this for my office desk. Mainly for books and a few desktop items. At first instructions were a bit confusing. I had to inspect the pieces a few times before I figured out which was which. A simple solution would have been to put letter stickers on each piece. The instructions have letters, why not add a sticker too?I like the versatility to pick how to configure it. The product shows 3 ways you can place the shelves. I like this idea. I wish there was a way to attach them to each other based on which configuration you choose. With 2 separate pieces, it doesn't feel sturdy. As a DIYer I can think of a few ways to attach them to make it even better. (something I plan to do).In the end, this product had a lot of potential but missed the mark. Improved instructions and a better way to stabilize the shelves would increase my rating.
