It does provide a nice out of the way place to store things like stuffed animals.However, the hangers that go over the top of the door protrude so much, you have to exert a substantial amount of force to close the door all the way to latch it.The pockets also stretch quite a bit yes, but it also stretches enough to allow it to bulge out preventing the door from being opened all the way.The way it is designed also, the sides will curl in on themselves unless you use a separate set of adhesive hooks on the back of the door, and they don't look like the kind that can be removed without damage.So much room in this. I love the bigger pockets, which allows my child to stir the bigger items. Hangs well on the back of the doorTechnically this does exactly what is advertised, however, unlike similar products, for whatever reason the product's hooks do not work well. My closet door needs extra oomf to close it now, and by just closing the door once, I have marks and dents in the top of the door frame from forcing it closed. This is odd to me, since on the other door (it's a 2 door closet) I have a similar storage device with hooks that look thicker but I have no issues with those. Finally, the hooks are not very stable--the whole thing moves around a lot. I tried using the sticky hooks for the last 2 loops but honestly those aren't very stable either and I have a feeling that when I eventually take this thing down it will rip the paint off too. 2/5 because it does what is advertised but not very well.
