This is my first review and I'm writing it because I was so impressed when the box arrived. First, the mirror is VERY well packaged. It's in a bag, in bubble wrap, in a box, in bubble wrap, is a support frame, in another box. I think the shipping company would have a fun time trying to damage this mirror since it's behind four layers of protection. Second, from the description I was expecting a very cheap plastic frame. To my surprise the frame is wood, actual wood with grain and everything. It is stained black, but in the right light you can notice the subtle wood grain (unlike the plastic frames which are very flat and boring). Lastly, the mirror actually looks a little more antiqued than the picture on Amazon shows. I was very happy with this. It's still just printing on the backside of the glass which is then mirrored, but overall it is very well done. Unless you really get close it looks very much like an old silvered mirror with some blackened areas and patina. So far I'm very pleased and I haven't even hung it up yet.
