This bag is smaller than the Maxie bag but still deep. It has beaucoup pockets. I like that it has actual pockets on the inside of the external sides of the bag. However, this bag has one whole leaf of 4 pockets (back and front of 1 page) that only closes by 1 inch of hook and loop (Velcro) fastener so these 4 pockets aren’t fully secured; they aren’t zippered like the rest of the pouches. I’m not sure how I would use these. Also, the bag doesn’t open down the horizontal center to lay flat. I didn’t notice that before and this is my dealbreaker. I can see it might be difficult to get to the items toward the bottom of the bag because of the way the leaves are sewn. I have started the process to return it. I hate to do so but I don’t want to regret my purchase at this price point.I love this bag. My only complaint is that there are several sections that are velcro. There is no mention of that in the description, only "compartments" and "zippered sections." It would also be nice to have an item next to it to show the scale. Yazzii has many incredible bags but many look the same. Despite there being dimensions on size, seeing the bag to scale would be a plus.Great to use for carrying jewelry on vacation. Comes in different sizes.So much room for all the little sewing things I need, knowing it will get there all in place is well worth the expense. All those "little" things add up too, nice to know they're protected.I purchased this for a friend who is a crafter. It has a wide assortment of pockets to store notions and other items.
