I ordered 2 of these. The assembly was a piece of cake! And they seem pretty sturdy, too. They look amazing in my kitchen with all of my black major appliances!The trays are a little bent so they don't fit flat on the frame. The metal is kinda thick so I'm not even sure how this happened but yea. Overall I'm not bothered by it and I am keeping the shelf. The shelf itself was easy to put together and it holds a lot.It functions as a storage mechanism for spices and that’s mostly it. For $30 I’d expect slightly more quality than what I received.It’s very obvious where pieces were welded together, the welding is just poor and is an eyesore. For $30 that might be expected.The pieces just don’t fit together very well at all. One of the pieces was missing the mechanism to lock it in place. Getting the thing together was difficult and due to the mis-measured rack pieces there is some overlap which doesn’t look great and makes it a little tilted.Buy a different $30 spice rack.Came broken but nothing a little wood glue couldn’t fix.I use mine for bread and fruit! Unfortunately, I was all out of bread when I took this photo lol. This shelf is a great starter item for new kitchen owners as it's versatile, budget-friendly, but also an attractive and more permanent addition to your home. I really appreciate the ball feet. Can't express that enough. I am living in a compact space right now, so things get moved around and reorganized often. The ball feet make it easy for me to push the rack around without worrying about damaging my wooden table. Super easy to assemble, super attractive addition to save space.As other reviewers have mentioned, the shelves overlap and don't rest within each other nicely. This wasn't a huge problem for me since I'm not using it to hold anything that this affects... Nor is it really that aesthetically displeasing! Thus, no stars deducted. It was perfect for me!This shelf unit comes frustratingly close to being quite nice. The frame slots together pretty easily, and once built, it's pretty sturdy. The problem, as other reviewers have noted, is the shelves themselves. Each shelf is made up of two parts that just sit on the frame. (I imagine the manufacturer divided the shelves so the overall length of the unit would be shorter and it could ship more affordably.) The design could have worked out had those two pieces fit together well. But they don't. Weirdly, they just overlap, and they don't sit right. They're a little warped, so there's a gap between the two halves where they overlap, and even if there were no warping at all, there would inevitably be a bulge where the overlap occurs. (The pictures on Amazon do not represent reality in this respect.) Why make the shelves overlap when they didn't have to? It's inexplicable. Anyway, the end result is that this sturdy little shelf unit just doesn’t look very good. I mean, it will still hold things well enough. It could live a life of useful service, but perhaps it would best be placed somewhere where you don't have to see it every day. Because every time you look at this thing, you're going to feel a twinge of regret over not getting something nicer looking.Very easy to assembleHolds a lot of seasoningGreat for spaceKeep looking further,...this rack is awful. The shelves are made up of two pieces that overlap in the center. (4 pieces total) Both of my shelves have one section that is warped where they meet in the center, therefore they do not lay flat in the middle of both of the two shelves. I don't know why they had to make them overlap in the first place when they could have just met perfectly in the middle. Anyway, the rack is totally useless to me and I advise against purchasing it.
