100 percent satisfied with this bamboo bath tray. It arrived earlier than expected and was easy to put together. I especially liked that the tray collapses for easy storage and the slip resistant additions on the bottom. Bamboo is anti microbial so I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to elevate their main or guest bathroom without any fuss or mildew build up.Nice color and nice shape. Suitable for most of size of tubs, the color matches well with the white tub. And it is foldable which is much easier to organize. It is Worth to have a try!I actually got this for my wife, who loves spending hours, at times, soaking in our great big bathtub. See the attached photo (of the tub, not my wife!)This is a well-thought-out piece of furniture, overall, with a few minor quibbles which provide room for improvement, which I'll mention later.I really like how this is able to expand, easily, to fit a standard, narrow tub, all the way up to a huge garden tub (like in my photo). I like how well thought-out the various trays and compartments are... though some of them are not necessarily "intuitive" at first, so better documentation might be beneficial!I like the materials and worksmanship. I'm convinced, though only time will really tell, that the laquer coating on the wood will make it fully able to survive being around a bathtub. So, what DON'T I like? Really only two things.First, the unit ships, and stores, in the narrowest state, and FOLDED IN HALF IN THE MIDDLE. This makes for a very compact package, which is good. But to "lock" the two halves into the open state, there is a metal plate, two screws, and two "thumb nuts" which are used to mechanical fix the center hinged joint in the fully-opened state. (The plate and nuts are on the underside, with only the screw heads visible, and below the surface, on top.)Now, this is GREAT if you never want to fold it up for storage purposes. But if you do... you need to remove both screws and nuts, and the plate, and store all five pieces away, ensuring none get lost. There are other, much better, ways of accomplishing the same function, without requiring anything of this sort at all. I'd suggest that the "sliding rod" from a slot on one half into a receptacle on the other side would be a better choice. This would require no tools, risk no lost parts, and would be easily done or undone at any time, with no hassle at all.Second, the reading stand. It seats into a slot on top... but not as securely as it really ought to in order to feel comfortable with a book, magazine, phone, or tablet OVER THE BATHTUB FULL OF WATER. it needs to be a lot more secure. A pair of dowel pins protruding from the edge of the stand, fully through the main portion of this table, would make a world of difference. Also, there are a pair of magnets on the book stand, and on the top (when unfolded) of the main unit. They match up and align. You'd THINK that they were supposed to attract each other, to keep the bookstand in-place when storing this (without separating and folding the center section, I mean). I can see no other use for those magnets. And yet, they don't actually "stick together" at all. It's almost as if the magnets are... well... demagnetized. It's just a WEIRD thing... seeing these little shiny metal points, embedded into teh wood surface, clearly intended to hold two parts together, but having no effect I can detect at all.Unless these are not really magnets, and not really intended to hold that piece into its matching compartment on top of the table when not in use... this is a real problem. So, is it perfect? Nope. But is it "good?" Yep. And hopefully, after reading my comments, "next year's model" will be even better. Maybe even rating a full 5-star review. As one who loves to read and luxuriate in the bathtub, this is a product that was made for me. Fits well along my tub and has all sorts of aspects that allows for me to place and utilize all kinds of things while bathing. It's also fairly easy to place and remove for the different portions of my bath. While actually tending to my bath and shampooing needs, I can easily remove the tray and put it to the side of my tub when I need my bath tub space for all of that moving around. But when I want to place this tray and sit back and relax with my book, phone, wine, whatever, I can easily put all in place and do so.Though I gave this 5 stars, I did so with the idea that this bath tray is quite good for the price range. My ideal tray would have a much smoother and heavier treated wood and would preferably be teak rather than bamboo. It is treated and have not experienced splinters, rough patches or anything like that. I'd just like one that is even more refined. Of course, that would take me into a higher priced bath tray, even if I could find one of that quality. The other thing that I would greatly prefer is that the edges and corners be rounded. I can't stand all of those 90* edges on all of these bath trays. They are painful when your arm or hand leans along those edges. Also, the points are just as bad when you accidently slide a body part along them. But again, I realize that would take me into a higher end bath tray which I cannot even find based on my expectations. The one thing that drove me crazy though after opening the box is the little plastic envelope that contains a couple screws, knobs and some white strips. The absolute only info that came with this bath tray was something about some foreign charity organization. Doesn't give you a clue what it has to do with this product but I assume it has to do with where it was made. Not one word regarding the product itself and not the least indication of what those things in the plastic envelope are for. After coming back and perusing this product page, I now have a little idea, but I still can't fully figure out what the knobs are for. If they are supposed to be a attached the way I'm now thinking, you won't be able to fold the tray and I'm not willing to give up that ability to do so. Some sort of easily moveable latch would be a better option. They really need to put something in the package about those. The bath tray does come closed up and is completely covered in clear shrink wrap. Was in good shape and very easy to unfold. Other than those things in the plastic envelope with no instructions, there's really no assembly required unless you want to do whatever you are supposed to so with those little pieces. Really don't need them though to get you started. I still haven't done anything with them.It expands to quite a broad width. Haven't measured though. Fits my whirlpool tub very well. Fortunately, I do have considerable space on either side with additional ledges. If one of your sides is almost flush up against a wall, I don't think that I would trust it not eventually falling into the tub. Do make sure you use those white strips in the envelope to adhere on the bottom to help provide a bit of a grip. Even still, there's nothing on the ends to grab onto anything. You really need side space because it's just gravity alone that keeps it in place. So for being one of the more affordable bath trays around, I'm quite a happy bather.First world problems, I know. If your tub is ultra deep, this is not the product for you. I could almost rest my chin on the tray. Definitely not the fault of the product, though. I hope all you lucky ducks with slightly more shallow tubs enjoy every relaxing soak with this!
